Laser treatment reduces melanin
to improve dark spots and dullness
Pico toning is an advanced toning treatment that reduces melanin to address dark spots and dullness. The laser wavelength and pulse duration are important when treating different kinds of pigmentation. Conventional lasers use nanosecond pulses; pico toning uses picosecond pulses, one thousandth as long. These very short pulses allow treatment with less heat damage and discomfort than conventional devices. Output differs from clinical treatment because this service is intended for cosmetic rather than diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
IPL phototherapy
We use modern IPL phototherapy (Photo RF) to address pigmentation and redness associated with UV exposure and other factors. This device, approved by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, targets pigment deeper than cosmetics can reach, helping reduce dark spots, dullness, and inflammatory redness. IPL is particularly suited to freckles, small spots, and overall brightening, while also supporting skin texture and firmness.

Treatment frequency
We usually recommend at least three sessions at monthly intervals.
For improvement in pores, acne scars, or fine wrinkles,
five or six monthly sessions are recommended to help stabilize skin quality.
Downtime
There is almost no downtime, but moisturizing is important because the skin becomes sensitive.
Fractional spot treatment may produce small scab-like areas,
which generally fall away in around one week.
Pain
There may be a sensation similar to a snapping rubber band,
but this usually settles quickly with a soothing mask, with little lingering pain.
Precautions
Avoid tanning after treatment and use adequate UV protection during the day.
Temporary dryness may occur, so moisturize regularly.
